Guided tour: Mycenae – Nafplio – Epidaurus – Nemea wine tasting – Kalamata

Departure to Mycenae. There you will have a guidance with English speaking guide. Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization, a military stronghold which dominated much of southern Greece. Visit of the archaeological site and the museum.

Departure to Nafplio. You will have plenty of time to explore the seaport town and explore the capital of the First Hellenic Republic and of the Kingdom of Greece, from the start of the Greek Revolution in 1821 until 1834. (Optional visit of Palamidi castle)

Departure to Ancient Epidaurus. Epidaurus is one of the most popular archaeological sites in Greece. Located on the north-eastern side of Peloponnese, in the region of Argolis, Epidaurus Greece is mostly famous for its Ancient Theatre. This theatre was constructed in the late 4th century BC to host religious ceremonial events in honor of god Asclepius, whose healing center was located few steps away. Famous for its symmetry and the incredible acoustics, this classical theatre is surrounded by lush greenery and gives nice view to the valley below. Visit of the theater, archaeological site and museum.

Admisssion: €12 full (archaeological site+ museum, due to COVID-19, safety and protection measures to know before visiting), €6 reduced price  (visitors over 65 years old), free entrance for children coming from the EU (check with our guide and at the ticket office if coming from other countries)

Water, hat and sunglasses, loose clothing and comfortable shoes needed.

After this tour, we will visit Nemea, which is very popular for the wine from ancient ages. Visit a vinery for wine tasting.
