I am Chrysanthi but you can call me Chrysa!
I am a graduate of the Department of Archaeology of the University of Ioannina and since 2014 a licensed tour guide, thus managing to combine my love for archaeology with traveling.
I have worked as an archaeologist in various departments of the Ministry of Culture. During my work I participated in the organization of various events such as the Summit of Leaders of SΕΕ. Europe, entitled: “Intercultural Encounters in Sea, River and Lake Routes in SEE Europe” under the auspices of UNESCO Athens, as well as the Honorary Event at the New Acropolis Museum regarding the Reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures.
Guided tours and travelling have always been my passion. I love sharing stories about my country and its culture as well as knowing and interacting with people from different cultures.
I have many years of experience in guided tours around Greece (private, multi-member groups). Recently, I am very interested in religious tourism and in Dark Tourism and Geotourism as well after having participated in training seminars.
In my spare time I have two favorite activities: language learning and miniature creation on a 1:12 scale. I am currently learning Japanese, having already received my first degree.
My base is Athens where I live with my family, but I will be happy to show you some of the most beautiful and interesting corners of my country!
